1. Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY Completes 8 Years
The Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) completed eight years on 23 September 2026. The scheme has crossed 60 crore beneficiaries and provides health insurance/assurance coverage of up to ₹5 lakh per family per year for secondary and tertiary hospitalisation.

2. India–New Zealand Free Trade Agreement
The India–New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (FTA) is scheduled to come into force on 20 October 2026, following completion of the required domestic and ratification processes. The agreement was signed on 27 April 2026 in New Delhi.

3. J&K Government Issues Administrative Secretaries Roster
The Jammu and Kashmir Government has issued the roster of Administrative Secretaries who will remain available at the Civil Secretariat, Jammu, during October 2026.

4. Army Chief Reviews LoC Readiness in Kashmir

7. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana
