Through the medium of this notice the Kashmiri and Jammu migrants registered with the Relief Organization, more specifically the Relief holders are informed as under:

i. Ration booklet/coupons for the FY 2024-25 shall be issued by the Zonal Officer/Camp /Commandant/Tehsildar, against proper receipt to the Head of the Family (HoF). In case Head of the Family is not able to collect the ration booklet/coupons from the Camp/Zone, in person, due to any exigent reason, then to any other adult member of the family/blood relation, duly authorized by the HoF against proper receipt.

ii. In no case shall personal appearance of the Head of the Family be insisted to collect ration booklet/coupon/ration. The Zonal Officer/Camp Commandant/ Tehsildar shall ensure that ailing and elderly relief holders are facilitated, and where ever required visit their place of residence to facilitate distribution of ration coupons/radon.

iii. The Zonal Officer/Camp Commandant/Tehsildar, in consultation with the officers/officials of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, shall remain available on fixed dates in the zone/camp every month to facilitate the verification of the ration coupons and distribution of ration to the relief holders, ensuring that relief holders do not face any hassles. A notice in this regard shall be displaced at prominent places in the concerned Zone/Camp by the Zonal Officer/Camp Commandant/Tehsildar.

iv. The Zonal Officer/Camp Commandant/Tehsildar shall ensure to maintain a detailed data of the ration coupons issued/verified viz. name of the HoF, Aadhar number of the HoF, contact number of the HoF, present address, name and contact number of the person issued ration coupon. The phone number and Aadhar card of the Head of the family shall be verified before the ration coupons are issued.

v. The Zonal Officer/Camp Commandant/ Tehsildar shall ensure ration coupon is issued under his/her seal and signature, with the date explicitly indicated. The Zonal Officer/Camp Commandant/ Tehsildar shall also ensure that signature/thumb impression of the person issued ration coupon is duly obtained, a scanned copy of which shall be kept by the concerned ACR in the Head Office also for record.

vi. The Zonal Officer /Camp Commandant/Tehsildar shall be personally responsible for monthly reconciliation of the ration coupons issued/verified and the ration actually disbursed, with the concerned officials of the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, on monthly basis.

vii. The list of all the ration depots with contact number, timings and location, is available on the website of the Relief Organisation (M) (wwwatnigrantrelietnic.in) and shall also be displayed in all Zones/Camps.
