1. PM Modi inaugurates special celebration on the 90 years of RBI
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi addresses a ceremony in Mumbai today to mark the 90th anniversary of the Reserve Bank of India, as stated by the central bank.
- Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das also attended the event.
- Established in 1935, RBI functions as the nation’s central bank, following the recommendations of the Hilton Young Commission and governed by the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.
