Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility is discipline-specific, covering educational qualification and, for Manager posts, post-qualification work experience. Junior Executive posts require no prior work experience (Nil), while Manager posts generally require 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

Candidates with a “Bachelor’s Degree in Technology” may apply against the qualification “Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering” for Commercial and Operations posts.
Work experience must be from Central/State Government, PSUs, or Large Private Sector Organizations (listed companies, organizations with 250+ employees, or companies with annual turnover above Rs. 250 crores; large law firms must have turnover above Rs. 10 crores).
Degrees/Diplomas acquired via Open and Distance mode from UGC-recognized universities or AICTE-approved courses are considered valid, wherever applicable.
Age Limit :
Manager : 32 years
Junior Executive : 27 years
Age Relaxation :
SC/ST candidates: 5 years
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates: 3 years
PwBD candidates with permanent disability (in identified suitable categories): 10 years
Ex-servicemen and Commissioned Officers with at least 5 years of military service: 5 years
Candidates in regular AAI service who have completed probation: up to 10 years
Salary Structure

In addition to Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, Perks (35% of Basic Pay), HRA, and other benefits including CPF, Gratuity, Social Security Schemes, and Medical benefits are admissible as per AAI Rules. Pay protection is provided as per DPE Guidelines for candidates joining from other CPSEs/State PSUs/Government Departments through proper channel.
Application Fee :
Application Fee: Rs. 1,000 (inclusive of GST), payable through online mode only.
SC candidates, ST candidates, PwBD candidates, Women candidates, and AAI Apprentices who have completed 1 year of Apprenticeship Training in AAI are exempt from the fee.
Fee can be paid via Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet  Banking, IMPS, or Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets.
Fees once paid are non-refundable under any circumstances; duplicate payments will be refunded after the closing date.
Candidates can apply for multiple posts with separate registration and separate fee payment for each post.
Selection Process
Computer Based Test (Objective Type) will be conducted for all posts, with no negative marking for wrong answers.
Provisionally eligible candidates will be called for the Computer Based Test based on details furnished in the application form.
The Computer Based Test will be followed by Application Verification/Subsequent Tests for all posts.
Post Codes 1 to 11 (all Manager posts) will also include an Interview as part of the selection process.
For Manager (Fire Services), Application Verification is followed by a Physical Measurement Test, Driving Test, and Physical Endurance Test (Running, Casualty Carrying, Pole Climbing, Rope Climbing, and Ladder Climbing & Descending). Only candidates who qualify these tests proceed to the interview.
For Manager and Junior Executive (Airport Operations), a valid Light Motor Vehicle License is essential (temporary/learning license not accepted).
Final selection is based on a merit list from Computer Based Test and Interview scores (wherever applicable), subject to meeting all eligibility criteria.
Selected candidates for Manager (Fire Services) must undergo training and execute a Surety Bond of Rs. 5 lakh to serve AAI for 3 years after training completion.
Colour blindness and/or night blindness is a rejection criterion for all posts except Post Codes 3 (Finance) and 12 (Junior Executive Finance).
Selected candidates will be liable to be posted anywhere in India.

Educational qualification certificates and mark sheets
Caste Certificate [SC/ST/OBC(NCL)], valid for FY 2026-27, where applicable
EWS Certificate, valid for FY 2026-27, where applicable
Disability Certificate (generated through Swavalamban/UDID portal) for PwBD candidates
Discharge Certificate for Ex-servicemen candidates
Experience Certificate and supporting documents proving the nature and duration of work experience
Apprentice Certificate from AAI, where applicable
No Objection Certificate (NOC) from current employer, for candidates already working in Central/State Government, Autonomous Body, or PSU

Visit the official website: www.aai.aero and go to the “CAREERS” tab.
Keep ready a valid personal email ID, mobile number, scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression, and hand-written declaration as per specifications.
Fill in the online application form with accurate personal, educational, and experience details.
Upload all required documents as per the eligibility criteria for the post.
Pay the application fee of Rs. 1,000 online (if applicable), using the integrated payment gateway.
Verify all details carefully before final submission, as no changes are possible after submitting.
Take a printout of the e-Receipt and the online application form containing fee details, for your own record (no need to send it to AAI).
Regularly check your registered email (including spam folder) and the AAI website for admit card and further updates.
Important Instructions
Only Indian Nationals fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply.
Age, qualification, experience, and all other eligibility criteria will be reckoned as on 07 September 2026 (cut-off date).
Candidates should apply only if the final result of their required qualification has already been declared; there is no relaxation on this account.
OBC (NCL), EWS, SC/ST, and Disability certificates must be valid and in the prescribed Government of India format, produced at the time of Application Verification/Interview.
Candidates can apply for multiple posts, with separate registration and fee payment for each post.
Furnishing wrong or false information will lead to disqualification, and AAI will not be responsible for any consequence of such information.
No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the Computer Based Test.
The Computer Based Test will be bilingual (Hindi and English), except for the language test itself.
AAI reserves the right to modify, alter, restrict, enlarge, or cancel the  recruitment process at any time without prior notice.
Court of jurisdiction for any dispute will be at Delhi.
