INTERVIEW NOTICE
Interview for the post(s) of Professor-cum-Chief Scientist & Associate Professor-cum-Senior Scientist advertised vide Notice No. 01 of 2026 dated 02.01.2026 and Notice No. 04 of 2026 dated 08.04.2026.
In continuation to the Notice issued under endorsement No. Au/Adm(GAD)/Advt-T/26/9397-9415 dated 31.07.2026, it is notified for the information of all concerned that the interview for the faculty positions under direct recruitment, advertised vide Notice No. 01 of 2026 dated 02.01.2026 and Notice No. 04 of 2026 dated 08.04.2026, shall be held at the Vice-Chancellor’s Secretariat, Main Campus, SKUAST-K, Shalimar, as per the schedule indicated below:

All shortlisted candidates figuring in the Annexure to this notice are informed to report at the venue of the interview on the date indicated above at 09:00 AM, along with the following documents in original and self-attested photocopies:
Copy of Online Application Form.
D.O.B. Certificate (Certificate/Marks Card of Class 10th).
10+2 Marks Card/Diploma.
Bachelor’s Degree Certificate/Marks Sheet(s).
NCC J&K Hiring 2026
Post-Graduation Degree Certificate/Marks Sheet(s), if any.
Ph.D. Degree Certificate/NET/SLET/SET Certificate.
Proof of Research Publications, if any.
Reservation Category Certificate, if applicable.
Domicile Certificate.
Two recent passport-size photographs.
Other documents as per the prescribed qualification indicated in the advertisement.

Important Instructions
Mere inclusion of a candidate’s name in the list does not entitle the candidate to appear in the interview. Appearance shall be subject to scrutiny of all testimonials before the interview.
Mere calling of candidates for an interview shall not confer any right upon the candidate to be considered for selection.
Candidates who fail to produce any certificate/testimonial in original at the time of interview shall forfeit their candidature.
Certificates/testimonials acquired after expiry of the last date for submission of the Online Application Form shall not be entertained.
If any deficiency regarding eligibility or other requirements is established/proved at the time of interview or subsequently, the candidate shall not be considered for selection and shall be deemed disqualified ab-initio.
Any candidate found guilty of impersonation, submitting fabricated/tampered documents or testimonials, making false/incorrect statements, or suppressing material information shall be liable for criminal prosecution under law and shall be debarred from all future examinations of the University.
Canvassing/lobbying in any form shall result in disqualification.
This notice shall be deemed to be the interview call to appear before the Selection Committee on the scheduled date, time and venue. No separate call letter shall be issued.
Candidates who fail to appear for the interview on the given date shall not be interviewed later and shall forfeit their right of consideration.
No TA/DA shall be paid for participation in the interview.
