District Hospital Ramban Data Manager Type Test 2026
The Office of the Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Ramban has issued an addendum regarding the Type Test for the post of Data Manager under ATF, District Hospital Ramban.
The addendum, dated September 15, 2026, provides details about the nature, duration, qualifying criteria, evaluation process and merit determination for candidates who have applied for the Data Manager post.
Data Manager Type Test Date
The Type Test is scheduled to be conducted on September 18, 2026, at the Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Ramban.
Type Test Pattern
The Data Manager Type Test will be conducted as a qualifying-cum-screening test. Candidates will have to appear for an English typing test on a computer.
The test will have a duration of 10 minutes.
To qualify, candidates must meet both of the following requirements:

Minimum typing speed: 35 words per minute (WPM)
Minimum typing accuracy: 90%
Both speed and accuracy are mandatory for qualifying in the Type Test.
Weightage and Merit Preparation
The Type Test carries a total weightage of 40 points as per the screening criteria notified through the corrigendum dated June 8, 2026.
The 40 points will be distributed as follows:
- 20 points for typing speed
- 20 points for typing accuracy
Candidates securing the qualifying marks will be ranked according to the marks obtained in the Type Test. A final aggregate merit list will then be prepared as per the notified selection criteria.
Viva-Voce for Shortlisted Candidates
After preparation of the merit list, the top two candidates in the ratio of 1:5 will be called for the viva-voce.
Candidates appearing in the Type Test should therefore ensure that they meet both the prescribed typing speed and accuracy requirements.
Important Instructions for Candidates
The Type Test will be conducted under the supervision of the District Informatics Officer (DIO), Ramban, and the Member Secretary, District Level Selection Committee.
The result of the Type Test will be compiled by the Superintendent, ITI Ramban, and submitted confidentially on the same day to the Chairman of the Committee.
Candidates must bring their original valid Photo ID proof along with their application/registration details. The receipt/application number will be treated as the Roll Number for the Type Test.
Selection Criteria Remain Unchanged
The addendum clarifies that the selection criteria for the Data Manager post, as already notified through the corrigendum dated June 8, 2026, will remain unchanged. The latest addendum only specifies the modalities and evaluation method for the Type Test.
All other terms and conditions mentioned in the original Advertisement Notice No. 01 of 2026 and subsequent corrigenda/notices will remain unchanged.
