Name of the Post : Mediators
Eligibility :
(i) Retired District and Session judges or other retired judicial officers of the judicial , services of the Jammu & Kashmir.
(ii) Retired members of the Consumer Commission
(iii) Advocate with a minimum experience of ten years at the bar
(iv) The mediators empanelled with the mediation cell of high court or a district court
(v) A person having experience of at least five years in mediation or conciliation
vi) Experts or other professionals or retired officer of J&K government with at least fifteen-year experience in administration.

The application forms can be obtained from the Assistant Director of Food Kupwara free of cost during office hours.
Selection Process
The procedure for the selection of Mediators shall be governed by the Jammu and Kashmir Consumer Protection Mediation rules 2023.

The application forms can be obtained from the Assistant Director of Food Kupwara free of cost during office hours from 04-07-2023 to 15-07-2023. The application forms complete in all respects shall be received up to 15-07- 2023.
