Nidhu Saxena, currently an Executive Director at Union Bank of India, has been named the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) of Bank of Maharashtra.
The Central Government recently approved his appointment for a three-year term.
Saxena has more than 26 years of banking experience, starting his career with the Bank of Baroda and later working at UCO Bank and Union Bank of India.

National & International Appointments

The Board has unanimously approved the appointment of Mr Keki M Mistry as the Chairman of the Board with immediate effect subject to approval of Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority.
Deepak Parekh, the chairman of HDFC Life Insurance, has resigned from his position.
The company also announced the completion of the tenures of Independent Directors VK Viswanathan and Prasad Chandran, who served for two consecutive terms of five years each.
