1. Nidhu Saxena is the new MD & CEO of Bank of Maharashtra
- Nidhu Saxena, currently an Executive Director at Union Bank of India, has been named the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) of Bank of Maharashtra.
- The Central Government recently approved his appointment for a three-year term.
- Saxena has more than 26 years of banking experience, starting his career with the Bank of Baroda and later working at UCO Bank and Union Bank of India.

2. Keki M Mistry appointed as new Chairman of HDFC Life Insurance
- The Board has unanimously approved the appointment of Mr Keki M Mistry as the Chairman of the Board with immediate effect subject to approval of Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority.
- Deepak Parekh, the chairman of HDFC Life Insurance, has resigned from his position.
- The company also announced the completion of the tenures of Independent Directors VK Viswanathan and Prasad Chandran, who served for two consecutive terms of five years each.
