JK News Today: Govt revises DA rate of pensioners
The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has revised the rate of Dearness Allowance (DA) of the pensioners/family pensioners from the existing rate of 239% of the basic pension/ family pension to 246% of the basic pension/ family pension.
An order issued by the Finance Department said that the new rate will be effective from July Ist, 2024.
The arrears on account of additional installment of DA from July 2024 to Feb 2025 shall be paid in cash in the month of March 2025 and shall form part of the monthly pension / family pension from March 2025 onwards.
