BGSBU Announced Summer Vacations

It is hereby notified for infornation of all the concerned that the University shall observe Summer Vacations from 01-06-2025 to 15-07-2025 for all teaching programs of PG/UG Diploma except Nursing College, Kishtwar, which shall be notified separately

Further. all the Associate Deans shall ensure the school-wise rotation of teachers instead of the department-wise rotation. However, since the School of Material Sciences and  Nanotechnology has limited faculty members. therefore, it will align with School of
Engineering & Technology for the purpose of this rotation. Accordingly, all the Associate Deans of the schools will issue a roster duty notice to the faculty members before proceeding on summer vacations and will also send a copy of the same to the Office of the Dean Academic Affairs. Registrar and Controller of Examinations for record and coordination purposes

Moreover, all the l/c Directors, Principals, is Principals, HoDs, l/e HoDs and Coordinators shall ensure that no teacher shall proceed on Summer Vacations without completing all the examinations assigned duties and without obtaining outstation leave permission which is mandatory. Those teachers who may have to stay for examination work during summer vacations for justifiable reasons shall be entitled for Detention Leave as per the rules of the University. However, such teachers shall be required to apply to administration, duly recommended by their Controlling Officers (Principals, HoDs & Coordinators), giving full justification for their detention
