From 21 March 2026 (4:00 PM) to 22 March 2026 (4:00 PM), slow movement on NH-44.
Reasons:
Single-lane traffic between Marog and Kishtwari Pather
Breakdown of LMVs/HMVs

Passenger and LMV operators should travel during daytime only on Jammu–Srinagar NHW.
Avoid night travel due to:
Shooting stones / landslides
Construction work (Ramban–Banihal stretch)

1. Kishtwar – Sinthan – Anantnag (NH-244)
Temporarily CLOSED due to snow
2. SSG Road (Srinagar–Sonamarg–Gumri / Zojila Axis)
If weather permits:
LMVs with anti-skid chains allowed
Movement: Srinagar → Kargil
No vehicle allowed after 3:00 PM
Travel only after permission from maintenance agencies
3. Mughal Road
Today: LMVs allowed from both sides
Tomorrow: Movement from Shopian → Poonch
Vehicles must have anti-skid chains
Timing:
11:00 AM to 3:00 PM
No movement after cut-off time
