Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the cut-off date 01-04-2026. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply. Relevant post-qualification work experience is mandatory. Age Limit :
Age limits vary by post and are reckoned as on 01-04-2026. Upper age limit indicated is for General (UR) and EWS candidates. Age relaxations are applicable as per Presidential Directives for reserved categories.
The maximum age of the candidate should not exceed 55 years (for posts with absolute cap) or not exceed General age limit + 10 years (cumulative relaxation cap) as applicable to the respective post.

Selection Process :
The multi-stage selection process will be adopted based on the number of applications received for each profile. Final selection is subject to document verification, performance in all selection stages, and Pre-Employment Medical Examination.
Stage 1 – Application Screening
Applications will be screened on the basis of years of relevant work experience, educational qualification, and other eligibility criteria as specified for each profile.

Stage 3 – Case Based Discussion / Group Task / Personal Interview
Candidates shortlisted in the CBT (category-wise and discipline-wise merit list) will be called for Case Based Discussion and/or Group Task and/or Personal Interview. Document verification shall be conducted before this stage. Provisional selection will be based on relevant work experience, on-the-job achievements, and overall performance across all selection stages.
Stage 4 – Pre-Employment Medical Examination
Provisionally selected candidates must clear a Pre-Employment Medical Examination conducted by BPCL’s authorized doctor / nominated hospital as per OISD-GDN-166 guidelines. Medical fitness decision shall be final and binding. Reference for medical examination does not mean final selection.

Selected candidates will be placed in appropriate grades (E2 to E8) and pay points based on profile, qualification, experience, and performance in selection. CTC indicated is at the minimum of the pay scale for metro city postings.

Candidates can apply for only one profile. Candidates are advised to submit only one application; in case of multiple applications, only the latest one shall be considered as final.
Percentage of marks is calculated on the basis of total marks obtained in all semesters/years in all subjects. Rounding off of percentage is not allowed.
Experience gained only after the date of declaration of result of the qualifying degree will be considered. Short-term trainee experience (summer/winter internships during degree) will not be counted.
All qualifications must be from AICTE approved / UGC recognized University / Deemed University. Equivalent percentage for CGPA/OGPA must be indicated and supported by a certificate from the University.
OBC candidates belonging to ‘Creamy Layer’ are not entitled for OBC-NCL reservation; they must apply as General. OBC-NCL certificate should clearly indicate non-creamy layer status.
Candidates presently employed in Central / State Government, Autonomous bodies, PSUs must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the time of selection process.
All future communications will be through e-mail only. The email ID and mobile number must remain valid for at least one year. BPCL will not be responsible for non-delivery due to invalid email ID.
No email confirmation will be sent on successful registration or fee payment. Candidates must take a printout of the payment acknowledgment for future reference.
3rd AC train fare reimbursement is admissible for CBT for outstation SC, ST & PwBD candidates. 2nd AC train fare is admissible for all outstation candidates appearing in the Interview (distance of not less than 30 km). This is not applicable for candidates already in Central / State Government Services / PSUs.
