SKUAST-Jammu Notification: Document Verification for Carpenter Post
Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-Jammu) has issued a notification regarding document verification for candidates falling in the merit list based on the written test for the post of Carpenter, advertised under Notification No. 09 (Secy.) of 2023 dated 19.07.2023.
Background
Mr. Pankaj Chalotra was selected for the post of Carpenter through University Order No. 221 (Secy.) of 2024 dated 25.06.2024 and was subsequently appointed vide University Order No. 340 (Secy.) of 2024 dated 16.08.2024.
However, he did not join within the stipulated period of 21 days. Consequently, his appointment was cancelled through University Order No. 20 (Secy.) of 2025 dated 02.05.2025.
Following this vacancy, the Documents Verification-cum-Selection Committee in its meeting held on 25.05.2026 decided to call the next three candidates (1:3 ratio) in the consideration zone for document verification against one vacant Carpenter post.

Candidates must bring the original documents along with two self-attested photocopies of each:
Online application form and admit card.
Result sheet downloaded by the candidate.
Two recent passport-size colour photographs.
Original Photo ID (Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/PAN Card/Passport, etc.).
Date of Birth Certificate (10th Diploma/Marks Card).
Valid reservation category certificate (if applicable).
Domicile Certificate.
ITI Diploma in the relevant trade.
Other documents as prescribed in the advertisement.

Ex-Servicemen:
Discharge Certificate.
Form-XIV certificate issued by the competent authority under J&K Reservation Rules, 2005.
Already Employed Candidates:
No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer.
Candidates Claiming Equivalent Qualification:
Equivalence Certificate issued by JKBOSE.
Candidates Qualified from Outside Boards/Institutes:
Bonafide Certificate issued by the Controller/Registrar of the concerned Board/Institute.
