Anatomy
For Medical Candidates (Senior Resident)
- MBBS with MD/DNB in the concerned discipline from an NMC-recognized institution.
- Registered with J&K State Medical Council.
For Non-Medical Candidates (Demonstrator)
- M.Sc. in the concerned medical subject along with Ph.D. from a recognized medical institution.

- Registered with J&K State Medical Council.
For Non-Medical Candidates (Demonstrator)
- M.Sc. with Ph.D. in the concerned medical subject from a recognized institution.
For Medical Candidates (Tutor)
- MBBS degree from an NMC-recognized institution.
- Considered only if candidates from the above categories are unavailable.

- MBBS with MD/DNB in the concerned discipline from an NMC-recognized institution.
- Registration with J&K State Medical Council mandatory.
Tenure of Appointment
Initial engagement will be for one year.
Extendable annually based on satisfactory performance.
Maximum tenure: Three years as per Government Order No. 383-JK(HME) of 2024 dated 20.06.2024.
Selection Process
Selection shall be made solely on the basis of MCQ-based written examination as prescribed under Government Order No. 383-JK(HME) of 2024.
Important Conditions
Candidates who have already completed three years of Senior Residency/Demonstratorship are not eligible.
Candidates who have completed less than 30 months of Senior Residency/Demonstratorship may apply to complete the remaining tenure.
Applicants must submit an affidavit attested by a Judicial Magistrate regarding domicile status, previous residency tenure, and correctness of information provided.

Maximum Age: 45 years
For Anatomy, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Forensic Medicine departments, the upper age limit is 50 years as on the cutoff date.
Applicable to both in-service and non-PSC candidates.
Additional Information
Separate application and fee are required for each post.
Incomplete applications will be rejected.
A waiting list will remain valid for three months from the date of issuance of the selection list.
In case of a tie in written test merit, preference will be given to the candidate with an earlier date of birth.
Experience certificates will be issued only to candidates who serve for at least six months.
