University of Kashmir Releases Provisional Lists for Junior Accounts Assistant post
The Recruitment Section, University of Kashmir, has issued an official notice regarding the provisional category-wise lists of candidates who have applied for the post of Junior Accounts Assistant under Advertisement Notice No. 08 of 2026 dated 31 March 2026.
The provisional lists of applicants have been prepared after the initial scrutiny of the details and documents submitted by candidates through their online application forms. The lists have been issued separately for different categories and are attached as annexures to the official notice.

Submission of Representations
Candidates who find any discrepancy in their details mentioned against their respective Form Numbers in the provisional lists may submit their representations to the Recruitment Section, University of Kashmir.
Last Date for Submission of Representation:
25 June 2026 (up to 4:00 PM)
Candidates can approach the Recruitment Section on working days for submitting their objections/representations regarding any errors or discrepancies reflected in the notified Lists
Important Instructions for Candidates
The deficiencies mentioned in the provisional lists are based on the initial scrutiny of information and documents provided by candidates in their online application forms.
If no discrepancy is shown against a candidate’s Form Number, it does not mean that the candidate has been finally declared eligible or that the application is free from all deficiencies.
The inclusion of a candidate’s name in the provisional list is purely provisional and does not provide any right to participate further in the recruitment process.

Educational qualifications
Category certificates
Age eligibility
Required documents
Testimonials
Experience (where applicable)
Other information submitted in the application form
Candidates with Deficiencies
During scrutiny, some applications have been marked with deficiencies such as:
Documents not uploaded
Not having requisite percentage
Crossed upper age limit
In-service candidate
Helper/employee status at University of Kashmir or other institutions
Candidates having such remarks are advised to carefully check their Form Numbers and submit valid representations, if required.
Final Verification & Cancellation Clause
The University of Kashmir has clarified that it reserves the right to reject or cancel the candidature of any applicant at any stage if, during verification, any information, certificate, document, claim, or detail provided by the candidate is found to be:
False
Incorrect
Misleading
Incomplete
Suppressed
Unsupported by valid documentary evidence
Such action may also lead to further proceedings as per applicable rules.
