Engagement of Contractual Teacher (Assistant Professor) Sanskrit.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the engagement of one Contractual Teacher (Assistant Professor) in Sanskrit for teaching Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) students in the Faculty of Agriculture, SKUAST-Jammu, Chatha, Jammu.

Nature of Engagement
The appointment of the Contractual Teacher (Assistant Professor) in Sanskrit will be:
Purely on an academic arrangement basis.
Initially for the Academic Session 2026-27 for one semester.
Extendable for one additional semester, depending on the University’s requirement.
The engagement and remuneration shall be governed strictly in accordance with:
Notification No. 09 (Secy) of 2017 dated 11.05.2017, and
Notification No. 06 (Secy) of 2021 dated 05.05.2021 issued by SKUAST-Jammu.

Educational Qualification
The candidate must possess:
Ph.D. in Sanskrit with High Second Class (minimum 55% marks) from a recognized University.
NET/SLET/SET qualification as per UGC norms.
Experience Required
The candidate should have experience as:
Assistant Professor or equivalent (Contractual) in any Government-recognized Sanskrit University.
Monthly Remuneration
Selected candidate will receive a fixed remuneration of ₹45,000 per month.
