Jammu Srinagar NH44 Traffic Updates for 18 April 2020

Tomorrow traffic movement on NHW-44 Since 0200 hours, 350-400 Jammu bound vehicles are stranded on Jammu-Srinagar NHW-44 due to intermittent shooting stones/ landslides between Ramsoo- Ramban stretch. Moreover, in view of MeT prediction for rain and thunderstorms in J&K for next few days, there are chances of blockade of NHW-44. Subject to fair weather and clearance of road, stranded vehicles shall be allowed to ply on NHW – 44

Mughal Road

Road is closed due to snow accumulation SSG Road

SSG road continuosly blocked since 15-04-2020 due to snowfall and landslide at Zojila, 92 vehicles carrying essential commodities are stranded at Sonmarg. In view of MeT prediction for rain and thunderstorms in J&K & Ladakh, blockade of road. Only stranded vehicles shall be allowed to ply on Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari road, subject to fair weather and clearance of road.
