Jammu & Kashmir Bank invites online applications for engagement of Apprentices under NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) as per Apprentices Act-1961 (as amended) for a period of one (01) year.

Selected candidates will be engaged in Branches/ Offices of the Bank in the respective districts at the discretion of the Bank.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification :

Graduation from a recognized University/Institute

Graduation must be completed on or after 01 January 2022

Candidate must have studied the local/official language of the applied region in Class 10th or 12th

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)

Minimum Age: 20 Years

Maximum Age: 28 Years

Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD as per Government rules

 

Stipend & Benefits :

Monthly Stipend: ₹13,500

Bank Share: ₹9,000

Government Share (DBT): ₹4,500

Conveyance Allowance: Up to ₹1,250 per month

No other allowances or employment benefits will be provided

Government stipend of ₹4,500 is applicable only for candidates below 35 years.

 

Training Details :

Training Period: 12 months

Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Casual Leave: 12 days during the entire apprenticeship period

Online Written Examination

Total Questions: 100

Total Marks: 100

Duration: 1 Hour

Recruitment in Army Public School, Samba

Exam Pattern :

General Awareness & English Comprehension – 50 Questions

Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning Ability – 50 Questions

Negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer

Merit list will be prepared district/region & category-wise

General / Unreserved Category: ₹700

Reserved Category: ₹500

Fee must be paid online only (non-refundable)

Important Notes :

Apprentices will not have any right to claim permanent employment in the Bank

Candidates can apply for only one district/region

Misconduct or false information will lead to disqualification

Final engagement subject to document verification & medical fitness
