Terms and conditions
1. The criteria for preparing the subject wise merit lists and the engagement of the candidates for the academic session 2024-25 shall be as per the guidelines notified vide Order No: Order No: 137- JK (HE) of 2024, Dated 01.03.2024.
2. Applicants should be domiciles of J&K UT.
3. Candidates should be below 60 years of age at the time of joining. Any candidate acquiring the age of 60 years during the engagement period shall be disengaged.
4. Applicants can apply for the above positions through an online portal available at website of the Nodal Principal, Jammu division (www.nodalprincipaliammu.in) with effect from 02.07.2024 to 10.07.2024 (both days inclusive).
5. All the notifications regarding the process of engagements shall be available on the above mentioned website and no further notification shall be issued via any print or electronic media. Also, no individual communication with regard to the engagement process shall be sent.
6. In case two or more candidates of the same subject score same points, the candidate having higher marks percentage in PG shall be given the first preference and if the tie still persists, it shall be resolved on the basis of UG marks. In case tie persists at UG marks, age of the applicant shall be considered.(Preference shall be given to the older candidates)
7. All Academic Arrangements shall automatically terminate at the end of the academic session 2024-25. The engagement shall be for one academic session, excluding terminal holidays. 8. If a candidate is disengaged due to appointment/posting of regular faculty (whether through transfer or fresh recruitment) or change in workload etc., he/she shall be adjusted again against the requirement in any other college, as and when available and based on the merit. 9. A candidate who has been selected in particular institution/college under academic arrangement for a particular academic session shall not be permitted to Join any other institution/college under the same scheme in the same academic session.
10. The candidates having been awarded grades in CGPA in any degree / examination, for which credits are to be given for calculation of merit, shall enclose a conversion certificate (from CGPA to percentage) from the concerned University.
11. A teaching assistant shall be engaged only if no eligible/qualified candidate for lecturer (Academic Arrangement) is available in the concerned subject.
12. The candidates will have to sign an agreement with the Principal of the college concerned, before joining, in the prescribed format, duly attested by 1° Class Judicial Magistrate.
13. The candidates shall have to provide their active email IDs and their working contact number/numbers that remain active all through the session so that they can be called/contacted whenever required. In case the contact/contacts provided are found non-functional, the next candidate shall be contacted and this office shall not owe any responsibility in this regard.
14. In the event of any information given by candidate is found false, incomplete, incorrect. forged or tampered, the candidature of the applicant will be cancelled without any notice thereof. Further. misleading information shall also warrant necessary legal action.
15. The college allotted to the candidate shall not be changed. Candidates will not be shifted due to vacancies arising by non-joining or additional vacancies if any.
16. The teaching experience issued by the UGC approved Government Universities/Colleges of India shall only be accepted.
17. It is compulsory for the candidates to attend the counseling (in person) on the allotted dates & time, a failure of which shall result in loss of candidature. It is necessary for a candidate to accept an available offer at the time of counseling; otherwise he/she shall lose any claim for further consideration.
18. The candidate who has worked for the two or more consecutive previous sessions in a College shall not be considered for the same College during the current session 2024-25. In case number of such candidates is more than one then the candidates with the longest tenure shall be shifted first. However, minor relaxation may be given to a candidate in case he/she is compelled to move out of a station despite falling in merit.
