CIBIL Score Requirement: A Credit History Check Unique to This Recruitment
Unlike most government recruitment notifications, this advertisement makes personal credit history a formal eligibility condition. Candidates need a minimum CIBIL score of 680 at the time of joining the bank, since this post involves handling corporate credit decisions.
Job Recruitment in GMC Anantnag

The  bank has reserved the right to reject a candidate’s selection at any stage, including after joining, if their credit profile turns out to be unsatisfactory.
Probation Period and Mandatory Service Bond

| Category | Application Fee |

Selection Process :
Selection for Bank of Baroda C&IC Recruitment 2026 can include application scrutiny, an online test, a psychometric assessment, a group discussion, and a personal interview, though the bank retains the right to skip or modify any stage. Final selection depends on combined performance across whichever stages are actually conducted.
Online Test Pattern (Tentative)
If a written test is held, it will be a 150-mark, 150-minute online exam split into four sections, three of which only need to be passed rather than scored well in.
| Section | Test | Questions | Marks | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Reasoning | 25 | 25 | 75 minutes (combined) |
| 2 | English Language | 25 | 25 | |
| 3 | Quantitative Aptitude | 25 | 25 | |
| 4 | Professional Knowledge | 75 | 150 | 75 minutes |
| Total | 150 | 225 | 150 minutes | |
Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Professional Knowledge will be available bilingually in English and Hindi, while the English Language section will be in English only. Sections 1 to 3 are qualifying only and do not count toward the final score; candidates need at least 40% in General/EWS or 35% in Reserved categories to clear each of these sections, and there is no negative marking anywhere in the test.
Personal Interview & Final Merit
Candidates who clear the online test (or are otherwise shortlisted) move on to a psychometric assessment and/or personal interview, where the minimum qualifying score is 60% for General category and 55% for Reserved category candidates. If two or more candidates tie at the cut-off mark, the older candidate is ranked higher in the merit list.
The online test, if conducted, is tentatively planned across more than two dozen cities, including Mumbai, Delhi/NCR, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar, Jaipur, Lucknow, Baroda, Bhopal, Chandigarh-Mohali, and several other regional centres, with the final allotted centre confirmed in the call letter.

Job Profile :What Will You Actually Do in This Role?
The two job families under this recruitment involve noticeably different day-to-day work, which is worth understanding before choosing which post to apply for.
Credit Analyst roles (Manager/Senior Manager/Chief Manager) are appraisal-focused: examining new and existing corporate credit proposals, conducting credit due-diligence on financial, industry, and business risk, coordinating with Relationship Managers, and ensuring compliance in corporate accounts.
C&IC Relationship roles (Senior Manager/Chief Manager) are client-facing: maintaining relationships with existing corporate clients, sourcing new-to-bank corporate borrowers, cross-selling ancillary business, and creating account plans with opportunity income analysis for corporate borrowers.
Mistakes That Could Cost You This Opportunity
Several avoidable errors can disqualify an otherwise eligible candidate from Bank of Baroda C&IC Recruitment 2026, so it helps to check these before hitting submit.
Assuming any postgraduate degree qualifies – only a finance-specialised PG degree/diploma or a CA/CMA/CS/CFA qualification meets the educational criteria.
Not checking your CIBIL score in advance – a score below 680, or any default history, can lead to rejection even after selection.
Counting clerical-cadre banking experience toward the eligibility criteria, which is explicitly excluded.
Including work experience of less than 6 months from a previous organisation, which will not be counted unless it is part of your current employment.
Submitting more than one application – only the latest valid one is retained, and fees paid for earlier ones are forfeited.
Selecting a category casually, since no change of category is allowed after registration and an invalid OBC/EWS claim without supporting certificates can affect your candidature.
Overlooking the 3-year/₹5 lakh service bond commitment before deciding whether to accept the role if selected.
Waiting until the last date to register, risking last-minute website load issues for which the bank takes no responsibility.
