Hiring of Staff for the post of Nurse on Contractual Basis for Addiction Treatment Facility (ATF), GMC Jammu under National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre (NDDTC), AIIMS New Delhi.
Government Medical College Jammu has invited applications from eligible candidates for the below-mentioned position at the Addiction Treatment Facility (ATF), GMC Jammu under National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre (NDDTC), AIIMS New Delhi.
The engagement will be on a contractual basis for a period of one year, extendable on a yearly basis subject to satisfactory performance and conduct or continuation of the centrally sponsored scheme, whichever is earlier.

Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates must possess any of the following qualifications:
Option 1 :
B.Sc Nursing from a Government Recognized Institute
OR
Option 2 :
Matriculation with Diploma in Junior Staff Nursing Training from SMF or any other recognized institute.
Selection Criteria :
Without Screening Test :
Marks distribution:
ANM/GNM/B.Sc Nursing: 80 Points
Viva-Voce: 20 Points
(Items will be calculated on pro-rata basis.)
In Case of Screening Test :
Marks distribution :
Screening Test: 60 Points
Matriculation: 10 Points
B.Sc Nursing/Diploma in GNM Training from SMF or other recognized institute: 15 Points
Viva-Voce: 15 Points
Note :
Items II and III will be calculated on pro-rata basis.
Pro-rata calculation will be done on the basis of higher marks obtained in ANM/GNM/B.Sc Nursing.

Terms and Conditions
Candidate must be a resident of UT of Jammu & Kashmir.
The hiring is purely contractual for a period of one year, renewable yearly based on good performance and conduct or continuation of the centrally sponsored scheme, whichever is earlier.
The appointing authority reserves the right to terminate the contract without assigning any reason.
Candidate must provide one month advance notice before leaving the job. The contract may also be terminated by giving one month advance notice or one month remuneration in lieu of notice.
The contractual appointment will not provide any right for :
Regular appointment
Extension
Regularization
Additional benefits
The monthly consolidated honorarium includes all allowances and monetary benefits as conveyed by NDDTC New Delhi.
Leave, travel and other entitlements will be governed according to applicable rules.
Selected candidates must report within seven days from issuance of the selection list along with original documents for verification. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of appointment.
Selected candidates must execute a contract agreement with the Principal GMC Jammu/Nodal Officer ATF stating that they will not claim regular appointment or extension.
Other terms and conditions applicable to such contractual appointments will also apply.

Eligible candidates will have to appear for an interview. The interview date will be notified on:

No separate interview call letters will be issued.
In case of interview, candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:5 based on basic merit as per selection criteria.
Documents Required Along With Application
Applicants must submit the duly filled application form along with self-attested copies of:
Relevant essential qualification certificates including :

Degree/Diploma certificates
CGPA to percentage conversion certificate (if final marks are in grades).
Domicile Certificate.
Relevant experience certificate issued by competent authority.
Matriculation Certificate/Date of Birth Certificate.
One passport-size photograph attested by Gazetted Officer to be pasted on the application form.
One additional passport-size photograph to be submitted along with the application.
General Instructions
No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in screening test/interview.
Applications without required supporting documents will be rejected.
If the last date falls on a holiday, the next working day will be considered as the last date.
Application envelope should be superscribed with the name of the post applied for.
Important Note
Employees already working under NHM need not apply.
If they wish to apply, they must submit their resignation along with the application form.
