Nature of Job
Purely contractual (no claim for permanent government job)
Initial contract: 1 year
Extendable up to 3 years (yearly basis)

Educational Qualification :
Law Graduate (LLB / Integrated Law Degree)
Minimum 55% marks
Degree recognized by Bar Council of India
Skills Required
Good knowledge of computer applications
Ability to perform legal research online
Age Limit :
Minimum: 21 years
Maximum: 30 years

Duties of Law Researcher
Study case files and prepare summaries
Identify legal issues and facts
Assist during court hearings
Take notes of arguments and citations
Conduct legal research (case laws, books, articles)

Prepare case summaries as directed

Terms & Conditions
General Conditions
Must have:
Integrity & good moral character
No criminal record
Maintain strict confidentiality
Restrictions
Cannot practice law during contract
Cannot take any other job
Cannot appear before same tribunal for 3 years after leaving
Work Requirements
Maintain punctuality
Follow official working hours
Wear ID card issued by tribunal
Leave Policy
12 days paid leave per year
Maximum 3 days per month
No salary for:
Unauthorized absence
Extra leave beyond limit
Contract Termination
Either side can terminate contract with:
1-month notice
Chairperson of DRAT is final authority
Experience Certificate
Issued after successful completion of contract
Not issued if candidate leaves early
Reserve Panel
2 additional candidates kept in reserve per post
