The location of Vacancies of Specialist Medical Officer and General Duty Medical Officer in BSF are as under

Date of Walk-In-Interview :-From 20m April 2023 to 05 May 2023.

3. Venue and Timing: – BSF Composite Hospital, Humhama Camp, Near New Srinagar Airport (J&K) at 09:30 am.
4. Remuneration:-

Specialist Doctors — Rs. 85,000/- Per Month:- For whole period of contract

5. Age Not more than 67 years (please also refer para 08 below)
6. Educational & Professional Qualifications

(i) Specialist Doctors

A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or part-II of the Thi rd Schedule (other than that licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II or the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub-section (3) of Section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned Specialty as mentioned in Section-A or Section-B of Schedule-VI or equivalent.

11/2 years’ experience for Post Graduate Degree holder & 21/2 years for Diploma holder in the concerned specialty after obtaining the Post Graduate Degree/Diploma or equivalent.

Medical Examination: – Immediately after interview on the same day the candidates will be medically examined

by a Board of Medical Officer detailed by concerned Composite Hospital. Appointment will be subject to medical fitness.

Period of Contract: – Initial contractual appointment will be for 03 years which may be extended for further 02

years on year to year basis subject to the maximum age cap of 70 years. Total period of contract will be five years or ti II the appointee attainst he age of 70 years whichever is earlier.Thereafter, the contract will lapse automatically. However, the appointment can be terminated at any time by giving one month notice (on either side) without assigning any reason by paying/refunding one month salary.

No extension beyond the stipulated 05 years will be given. However, there is no bar on a contractual appointee

applying afresh on completion of 05 years tenure.

Entitlement of Leave: -The leave entitlement may be governed in terms of DoP &Tt OM No. 12016/3/84-Estt(L) dated 12^,” April 1985, as amended from time to time.

The appointee shall not have any claim or right to regular appointment to any post under CAPFs.

Theappointeeshall be on the whole t ime appointment of t he institutionand shall not accept any other appoint ment, paid or otherwise, during the period of contract.

The Selection/appointment of the candidates will be subject to verification of their character and antecedents.

Other conditions of contract will be governed by the relevant rules and order issued from time to time.

Note:

Suitable and willing candidates may walk in for interview to any of the place of interview of their choice on dates given against the location of Walk-in-Interview along with original & photocopies of all relevant documents (like graduate & Post Graduate Degree, age proof and experience certificate etc.) and application on the plain paper superscripting the name of the post applied for and five passport size recent photographs.

The advertisement will be valid for 01 year from its date of publication. Eligible candidates can submit their candidature any time to BSF Composite Hospital and walk- in interview will be arranged subject to vacancy.While submitting the application, the candidate should mention/prioritize their choices of locations for appointment which will be taken into consideration while issuing officer of appointment.

In case of selection of more candidates fora particular locations, waiting list will be prepared in the order of merit Which will be valid for one year from the date of Publication of the advertisement

In case vacancy is available in a particular location even after the interview, selected candidates as per waiting list will be asked for their willingness for appointment in that location.
