The Central University of Jammu (CU Jammu) has invited applications from eligible candidates for empanelment of Guest Faculty for the Academic Session 2026-27 (Odd Semester). The selection will be conducted through a walk-in interview.
Overview
The recruitment is for creating a panel of suitable Guest Faculty members who may be engaged by the concerned department as and when required during the academic session. The engagement will be purely temporary and requirement-based.

Honorarium
Selected/empanelled Guest Faculty will be paid:
₹1,500 per lecture

The maximum payment is subject to a ceiling of ₹50,000 per calendar month.
Walk-in Interview Date and Time
The walk-in interview for the advertised Guest Faculty engagement is scheduled as follows:

Reporting Time: 10:00 AM
Candidates should report according to the notified schedule and bring all required documents.
Eligibility Criteria
The qualifications, eligibility conditions and other applicable requirements will be governed by the UGC guidelines/regulations and the Central Universities Act, 2009, as amended from time to time.
Candidates should therefore ensure that they satisfy the applicable academic and eligibility requirements before appearing for the interview.
Documents Required
Candidates appearing for the walk-in interview are required to bring their original documents and experience certificates along with the following:
One self-attested photocopy of relevant documents
Updated CV/Bio-data
Two self-attested passport-size photographs
Duly filled application form available on the University website
Original educational and experience documents for verification
The application form also seeks details relating to educational qualifications, employment/experience, publications and other relevant academic information.
Application Processing Fee
Eligible candidates are required to submit an application processing fee of ₹500 through a Demand Draft in favour of:
“Registrar, Central University of Jammu”
The fee is to be submitted on the day of the walk-in interview.
Candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwBD categories are exempted from payment of the application processing fee.
Nature and Duration of Engagement
The Guest Faculty engagement is purely temporary and will be made on a per-lecture basis and as and when the department requires faculty services.
Empanelment does not provide any right to extension of engagement or permanent appointment. The arrangement is intended as an interim, requirement-based engagement.
The validity of the panel will remain applicable for the Academic Session 2026-27 (Odd Semester).
