Applications on the prescribed format are invited from the eligible candidates/doctors
(PSC and Non-PSC) who are permanent residents/domicile of UT of J&K for engagement as
Senior Resident/Registrar in the discipline of Dentistry, GMC Rajouri initially for a period of one (01) year in the first instance and further extendable on yearly basis up to maximum of three (03) years subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate

Selection shall be made as per latest criteria/method/guidelines issued by Administrative Department, Health & Medical Education and as per latest Teachers Eligibility Qualifications in Medical Institutions issued by NMC.

The criteria/policy guidelines for Eligibility/Selection of the tenured position of Senior
Residents/Registrar shall be determined vide Government Order No. 383-JK (HME) of 2024
dated 20.06.2024 and Government Order No. 383-JK (HME) of 2024 dated 20.06.2024.

The application form complete in all aspects should be accompanied with a nonrefundable bank draft of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) from J&K Bank in favour
of Principal, Govt. Medical College, Rajouri into the account mentioned below:

The application form annexed with this notice along with requisite documents (self attested) should reach in the office of undersigned by hand on or before 15th July r2026 up to 04:00 PM at Mehra Campus, GMC Rajouri

For PSC (In-service) Candidates

a) The in-service doctor shall be paid salary as per their LPC.

b) The in-service doctor shall be allowed to participate in the selection process only after fulfilment of all pre-requisites, in accordance with the relevant rules, as
envisaged in the J&K Civil Service Rules, 1979 and application forms of such candidates should be forwarded through proper channel i.e. Administrative
Department, they shall obtain NOC from the Competent Authority and in terms of policy on the subject in vogue, otherwise the application forms shall not be
entertained and no candidate shall be allowed to participate in the selection process.

c) In case of selection, they will be allowed to join only after being relieved from their Administrative Department.

For Candidates who are not in Government Service (Non-PSC Candidates).

The Non-PSC doctors shall be engaged on consolidated pay equal to the revised basic pay which corresponds to the minimum of the pre-revised scale for post of
Medical Officer in Health Department as per SRO-193 dated 24.04.2018 + dearness allowance.

The appointee shall be entitled to house rent allowance as applicable to in-service candidate carrying the minimum of the pre-revised scale of the post subject to fulfilment of the conditions provided under the relevant rules in this regard.

An appointee shall not be entitled to any other monetary benefits whatsoever.

APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE ACCOMPANIED WITH SELF ATTESTED COPIES OF THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS :

1. Date of Birth Certificate (10th Diploma/Mark sheet/any other)
2. Domicile Certificate.
3. BDS all terms marks sheets and degree.
4. Internship Completion Certificate.
5. Attempt certificate issued by concerned institute/university.
6. MDS Degree from recognized college/university (Mandatory).
7. Registration Certificate issued by State Dental Council.
8. Renewal of Registration Certificate issued by State Dental Council.
9. Aadhaar card.
10. Professional publications in a standard Journal, if any.

11. Affidavit duly attested from Ist Class Magistrate declaring that
a) the applicant has not done Registrarship/Demonstratorship/Tutorship earlier within or outside the UT J&K in the concerned discipline.

b) the applicant has read all the terms and conditions and shall abide the same befor he/she is allowed to join after engagement.

12. NOC from Competent Authority in case of in-service (PSC) candidate.

13. Two passport size photographs.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS :

1) The decision of the Selection Committee constituted in pursuant to Government Order No. 382-JK (HME) of 2024 dated 20.06.2024 shall be final and binding.

2) As per Government Order No. 383-JK (HME) of 2024 dated 20.06.2024, the maximum tenure of a Senior Resident shall be three (03) years, and no
extension shall be granted under any circumstances.

3) The candidature of the selected candidates shall remain provisional until the authenticity of their documents is verified from the issuing authorities.

4) Candidates are advised to carefully go through the prescribed educational qualifications and required certificates to ensure their eligibility for the post. If,
at any stage, the documents submitted are found to be incorrect, false, or not substantiated by the Selection Committee, the candidature shall be cancelled
and appropriate legal action shall be initiated.

5) The selected appointee shall be required to submit an affidavit duly attested by a Judicial Magistrate at the time of joining, affirming that he/she will not leave
the residency mid-way and shall serve for the entire tenure period.

6) The candidates who have already completed their tenure as Registrar in the concerned discipline need not to apply and their application forms shall not be
considered.

7) Any candidate (doctor) intending to leave the job shall be required to give one month’s prior notice, duly forwarded by the concerned Head of Department
(HoD), failing which the doctor shall be required to deposit one month’s salary with the institution.

8) In terms of Government Order No. 383-JK (HME) of 2024 dated 20.06.2024, along with the select list, the selection committee shall also maintain a waiting
list which shall be valid for a period of three (03) months. In case of failure of any candidate to join, the next candidate in merit may be invited to join.

9) The candidates having appeared in the final examination of the Postgraduate course (MDS) in the relevant discipline are also eligible to apply for the said
post. However, this shall be subject to the condition of production of necessary documents at the time of joining.

10) No selected candidate who has joined the institution on a tenured position shall be given Experience Certificate if he/she fails to serve on the tenured position
for at least six months.
