Eligibility Criteria for Anganwadi Worker (Sangini)
Applicant must be a female candidate.
Age Limit: 18 to 37 years as on 01-01-2026.
Must be a domicile of Jammu & Kashmir.
Must be a resident of the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located.
Name in the voter list of the ward will be treated as proof of residence.
Educational Qualification: Minimum 10+2 and maximum Graduation.

Selection will be made purely on merit based on marks obtained in 10+2.
Additional 2% weightage will be given to eligible candidates belonging to the family of retiring AWW/AWH.
In case of a tie, older candidate will be preferred.
Candidates possessing qualification higher than Graduation are not eligible.
Eligibility Criteria for Anganwadi Helper (Sahayika)
Applicant must be a female candidate.
Age Limit: 18 to 37 years as on 01-01-2026.
Must be a domicile of Jammu & Kashmir.
Must be a resident of the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is situated.
Selection shall be restricted to the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located.
Minimum Qualification: Matriculation.
If no matriculate candidate is available, candidates with qualification not less than 8th standard may be considered.
Merit will be prepared on Matric marks only.
Preference will be given to married women of the ward. If no eligible married candidate is available, an unmarried candidate may be considered.
