Applications are invited from eligible candidates to appear for a walk-in interview for the engagement of Site Engineers (Civil), as detailed below, on a project basis in the Engineering Wing, IUST Awantipora

The engagement shall be purely temporary on project basis, initially for a period of six (06)
months, or shall be co-terminus with the project duration

Eligibility :

Qualification
Bachelors’ Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University /Institute with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent Grade Point Average and with adequate experience in Computer Applications. (Excel & AutoCAD)

Experience :

The candidate shall possess a minimum of two (02) years of experience in the relevant field of Engineering acquired in a reputed Institution / Semi-Government/ Autonomous body. The said experience shall be supported by valid documentary evidence in the form of an experience certificate duly issued and authenticated by the
concerned Contractor or the Head of the concerned Institution/Organization.”.

Qualification
A Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks.

Experience :
“The candidate shall possess a minimum of (05) years’ experience in the relevant field of engineering acquired in a reputed Institution / Semi-Government / Autonomous body. The said experience shall be supported by valid documentary evidence in the form of an experience certificate duly issued and authenticated by the concerned Contractor or the Head of the concerned Institution/Organization.

Emoluments/ Remunerations (per month) : Rs. 30,000.00

Date of Interview : 19th of May 2026 (Tuesday)

Venue : Office of the Engineering Wing (IUST)

Reporting Timing : 10:00 AM

Note (s) :

1. Applicant must carry a detailed CV, duly filled application form (enclosed) with one latest passport-size photograph and original certificates along with a set of self-attested Xerox copies on the date of interview

2. No. TA /DA shall be paid for appearing in the interview.

3. The University shall verify the antecedents or documents submitted by an applicant at any time of the appointment or during the tenure of the service. In the event that any document submitted is found fraudulent shall be liable to be terminated without any further notice.
