Filling up of the posts of Drivers (District Cadre).

Communication No. 744/PSY-621 Dated: 18-08-2022 issued from the Chief Justice’s Secretariat read with communication No:712/PSY-621 Dated: 14-08-2023 Offline applications are invited on the prescribed format (Annexure A) attached to this advertisement Notice from the eligible candidates of District Srinagar for filling up of District Cadre posts of Drivers in the Pay Level 2
(19900-63200). The application form can be downloaded from the official website of District court Srinagar (https://districts.ecourts.gov.in/srinagar)
1. Eligibility :
i) The candidate should be resident of District Srinagar possessing a domicile certificate in terms of Notification issued by the General Administration Department of UT of J&K vide S.O. 166 dated 18.05.2020. However, the candidates who under SC category can apply irrespective of the place of residence provided they are the domicile of UT of J&K.
ii) The requirement of age as on 01.01.2023 for open merit and various reserved categories is as under.
iii) A candidate must have passed Secondary School examination (10th Standard) from a recognized Board.
iv) A candidate must possess a valid LMV or HMV driving license.
v) Application form shall be supported with the self-attested copies of the following documents.
a) Qualification Certificate. (Matriculate)
b) Date of Birth Certificate. (Matriculate)
c) Domicile certificate issued by the competent authority.
d) Valid Driving licence (LMV/HMV).
e) Category Certificate
f) Medical certificate to the effect that the candidate is fit to drive vehicle
Note :
* 1 post of Driver for District Srinagar has been already advertised by the Hon’ble High Court vide Advertisement Notice No. 01 of 2019 dated 10.01.2019. The candidates who have applied in pursuance to the said advertisement notice need not to apply afresh and their already received forms already shall be considered.
* Date of commencement for submission of offline application forms is 25-08-2023
* The duly filled application form along with requisite documents shall reach this office by or before 15-09-2023 which shall be the last date for submission of application forms. Application Forms submitted other than the offline mode shall not be accepted.
* A candidate shall have to deposit fee of Rs. 500/- (Five Hundred) in the shape of Demand Draft from J&K Bank Ltd. in favour of the Principal District & Sessions Judge, Srinagar.
* A candidate shall have to undergo a written test for assessment of his General Knowledge and the awareness about Traffic Rules. On the basis of merit obtained in the written test, the candidates shall be called for driving test/determining the driving skill in the ratio of 1:5.
* The final selection of the candidates for the above mentioned posts shall be made on the Cumulative grade of the marks obtained in the written examination and the driving test.
* The persons who are already engaged on adhoc or daily wage basis in the Courts of Srinagar District shall be eligible to apply irrespective of the minimum and maximum standards of age, and they shall deemed to have been given relaxation in the minimum and maximum standards of age.
* In-service candidates shall route their application forms for the post through proper channel only.
* Wide publicity shall be given through print and electronic media, official website https://districts.ecourts.gov.in/srinagar about the venue, dates of the written/driving skill tests for the information of the eligible candidates.
* No separate call letters shall be issued to candidates for written/Driving test. Candidates in their own interest are requested to carefully read the terms & conditions of the Advertisement Notice and remain in touch with this office for any information.
