Jammu & Kashmir Milk Producers’ Cooperative Limited (JKMPCL) is the leading dairy cooperative organisation of Jammu & Kashmir, having a network of more than 90,000 milk producers associated with it through approximately 200 village dairy cooperative societies.

The organisation states that its primary objective is to provide remunerative prices for milk to its producer members, ensuring the availability of quality and hygienic dairy products to consumers.

JKMPCL invites applications from eligible candidates for the following positions at J&K Milk Producers Co-operative Limited (Snowcap) and JKMPCL, J&K.

1. CIP Operator

Number of vacancies : 2
Maximum age: 35 years

Qualification and experience:

ITI/Diploma (2 years) or Diploma (3 years) in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation/related trade.

Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in the dairy/food industry, particularly in CIP-related operations.

The CIP Operator will generally be responsible for operating and monitoring the Clean-in-Place (CIP) system, which is used for cleaning dairy processing equipment, pipelines and associated machinery without dismantling them.

2. Milk Dispatcher

Number of vacancies: 1
Maximum age: 35 years

Qualification and experience:

Graduate or B.Com/BBA.

Class-IV Recruitment in the District Judiciary, Srinagar

Minimum 2 years of experience in the dairy industry.

The Milk Dispatcher is expected to handle activities related to the dispatch of milk, including coordination of milk movement, dispatch documentation and ensuring that milk is sent to the designated destinations in a timely and systematic manner.

3. Process Operator

Maximum age: 35 years

Qualification and experience:

ITI Diploma (2 years) or Diploma (3 years) in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation/related discipline.

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the dairy/food industry.

A Process Operator is generally responsible for operating dairy-processing machinery and monitoring the production process to ensure that operations are carried out safely, efficiently and according to prescribed quality standards.

4. CURD Operator

Number of vacancies: 1
Maximum age: 35 years

Qualification and experience:

ITI Diploma (2 years) or Diploma (3 years) in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation/related discipline.

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the dairy/food industry.

The Curd Operator will be associated with the operation and monitoring of machinery and processes used in curd production, including maintaining process parameters and ensuring proper production and hygiene standards.

5. Boiler Operator

Number of vacancies: 1
Maximum age: 35 years

Qualification and experience:

1st Class or 2nd Class Boiler License with 1 year of relevant experience will be preferred.

The Boiler Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring the boiler system, maintaining safe operating conditions and ensuring an uninterrupted steam supply required for dairy-plant operations.

6. Accounts Assistant

Number of vacancies: 1
Maximum age: 35 years

Qualification and experience:

M.Com or MBA Finance with 2 years of experience, or

B.Com or BBA with 2 years of experience.

The Accounts Assistant will generally assist with accounting, financial records, vouchers, documentation, reconciliation and other routine finance-related activities of the organisation.
