Jammu & Kashmir Yateem Trust (JKYT) has invited applications for the contractual engagement of staff for its Child Care Institutions (CCIs) located in Kupwara, Handwara and Gopalpora (Budgam).
The recruitment is for several positions related to child care, social work, counselling, administration and institutional management.
1. Project Manager — 1 Post
The position is project-wide, and the selected candidate will be required to travel as needed.
Educational qualification:
Candidates should possess a Master’s degree in Social Work, Management, Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is required, particularly in:
Programme management

2. Superintendent-cum-Warden — 1 Post
Location: Gopalpora, Budgam
Educational qualification:
The candidate should be a Graduate, preferably with a background in Social Work. The advertisement specifies that the candidate should be above 35 years of age.
Experience:
Candidates should have 2–3 years of experience in CCI or child-care management.
Important: This is a residential position, meaning the selected person must be available for full-time commitment to administrative and operational responsibilities.
3. Case Worker / Social Worker — 3 Posts

Handwara

Educational qualification:
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, or a related field.
Experience:
The required experience is 2–3 years. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in:
Case management
Child protection
Related social-work activities
4. Counsellor — 3 Posts
There will be one position each at:
Kupwara
Handwara
Gopalpora
Educational qualification:
Candidates should have a Master’s degree in Psychology, Child Psychology and Development, Social Work, or an allied field.
The advertisement further specifies the gender allocation as:
1 male counsellor for Kupwara
2 female counsellors for Handwara and Gopalpora
Experience:
Candidates should have 2–3 years of relevant experience. Preference will be given to candidates with:
Strong MHPSS (Mental Health and Psychosocial Support) skills
Experience in child counselling
Experience in family counselling, which is particularly desirable
5. House Mother — 2 Posts
Locations:
Gopalpora
Handwara
Educational qualification:
The candidate must have passed Matriculation (10th standard) at minimum and must be female.
Experience:
Candidates should have 2–3 years of experience in child care.
Class-IV Recruitment in the District Judiciary, Srinagar
Important: This is also a residential position, requiring full-time commitment.

The engagement is purely contractual and does not provide any right to regularisation.
The salary/remuneration will be negotiable, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
