JKPSC Various Recruitment 2026: Last Date Extended to September 18
The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has extended the last date for submitting online applications for various posts in the Higher Education Department, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
As per the latest JKPSC notice dated September 15, 2026, candidates can now submit their online application forms up to September 18, 2026.

The extension applies to the recruitment of Assistant Professor(s), Librarian (GCET) backlog vacancies, Assistant Professor, College Director of Physical Education & Sports and Librarians in the Higher Education Department.
The recruitment was advertised through Notification No. 05-PSC (DR-P) of 2026, Notification No. 06-PSC (DR-P) of 2026 and Notification No. 07-PSC (DR-P) of 2026, all dated July 31, 2026.

The last date for filling the online application forms has been extended up to September 18, 2026.
Candidates who have not yet completed their applications should submit their forms before the revised deadline.
Eligibility Cut-Off Date Remains Unchanged
JKPSC has clarified that the extension of the application deadline does not change the eligibility cut-off date.
