The Division of Agricultural Economics & Agri-Business Management, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-Jammu) has issued Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2026 for the engagement of a Guest Lecturer/Faculty/Teacher.
The recruitment is being conducted through a walk-in interview for teaching Course No. MDC-111 – Farming Based Livelihood Systems during Semester-I, 2026-27. The engagement will be purely temporary for one academic semester.

Educational Qualification
Essential Qualification
Candidates must possess:
M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics
At least 55% marks
The degree must be obtained from a UGC-recognized university.
Desirable Qualification
Preference may be given to candidates having:
Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics, and/or
NET qualification in Agricultural Economics
Remuneration
The selected Guest Lecturer/Faculty/Teacher will be paid ₹2,000 per lecture.
The engagement is purely temporary and will remain applicable for a period of one academic semester.

Nature of Engagement

Who Can Apply?
Candidates having an M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics with at least 55% marks from a UGC-recognized university are eligible to appear for the walk-in interview. Candidates possessing Ph.D./NET in Agricultural Economics may have an added advantage as these are mentioned under the desirable qualifications.
