Advertisement for recruitment of Sangini’s(Anganwadi Workers) in Anganwadi centre’s of Poshan Project Mandi.

3. Govt. of J&K Social welfare Department Order No: SWD-ICDS/43/2022 dated 14-08-2023.

The Application Forms on prescribed format (Annexure A) are invited from the eligible female candidates of the below mentioned wards of the Panchayats for engagement as Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers) in Anganwadi Centres of Poshan (ICDS) Project Mandi, purely on ”Honorarium basis” in pursuance to the sanction accorded by Mission Director Poshan, J&K vide Order No: MD/Poshan/22274-81 Dated:18-06-2026. The applications along with required documents shall be deposited in the office of Child Development Project Officer Poshan Project Mandi within 20 days from the date of publication of this advertisement notification in leading newspapers against proper receipt.

As per the norms, the unit of selection of Sanginis (AWWS) shall be the Electoral ward of the concerned Panchayat.

Criteria for selection of Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers):

1) Women candidates in the age group of 18-37 years shall be considered for the post.

2) The candidate should be domicile of the UT of J&K.

3) The candidate should be a resident of the electoral ward where AWC is situated. Name in the Voter list for the Ward shall be considered as the proof of residence. In case the name of the candidate appears in voter list along with her parents, then she must provide certificate of being un-married issued by the concerned Tehsildar.

Wherever, there is any dispute as to residence for any reason, and then a residence proof certifying the ward of residence from the concerned SDM/ACR shall be considered.

4) Minimum qualification for Sanginis (Anganwadi Worker) shall be 10+2 and maximum graduation. In case no 10+2 pass candidate is available in the ward, 10+2 pass candidate from the adjoining ward shall be considered which would require prior approval of Mission Director, Mission POSHAN.

5) In case suitable candidate is not available from adjoining ward, candidate from the nearest ward within the panchayat can be considered subject to the approval of the MD, Mission POSHAN.

6) Weightage shall be given on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 and selection shall be done purely on merit basis and no other criteria to be considered.

7) In case eligible candidate is available within the family of retiring AWW/AWH, the said candidate shall qualify for additional two present points.

8) In case of tie in merit of the eligible candidate, candidate with higher age will be preferred.

9) Candidate with qualification higher than graduation shall not be considered.

Self-attested copies of Documents to be Attached with the application form:

Panch Ward certificate/present/Continuous, Ward residence certificate issued by BDO concerned.

Domicile Certificate issued by Tehsildar Concerned.

Academic qualification certificates with Marks Card of 10+2.

If candidate belong to family of retired AWW/AWH, copy of document proof.

Date of birth Certificate/Diploma Matric.

Certified copy of the latest voter list as proof of residence. (Certified by the BDO concerned)

Unmarried Certificate by the concern Tehsildar (In case of unmarried candidate).

Affidavit in the prescribed format given in “ANNEXURE B” duly attested by Judicial Magistrate/Tehsildar.

Self-addressed envelope with postage stamp of Rs 5/-affixed.

HOW TO APPLY:

The application forms complete in all respects as per the Performa given in Annexure “A” of this notice along with all the requisite documents as mentioned should be submitted in the Office of the Child Development Project Officer Mandi, Poonch by personal delivery during working hours against the proper receipt. The incomplete forms shall be rejected without any clarification/notice and the candidates shall have no right to claim for candidature.

Date of commencement for submission of Application Forms : 25.06.2026

Last date for submission of Application Forms : 15.07.2026

No application forms shall be accepted after the last date i.e. : 15.07.2026

DOCUMENT VERIFICATION:

The shortlisted meritorious candidates shall be required to appear before the Document Verification Committee along with all the original documents whose copies have been attached with the application form within a week after the last date of receipt of application forms.
