After online submission, applicants must submit the hard copy of the application form along with self-attested copies of all required documents to the office of the respective Deans.
Applications sent through post will not be entertained.
Required Qualifications
Option A :
Candidates must possess :
Master’s Degree in the concerned/relevant/allied subject with at least 55% marks from a recognized Indian or foreign university.
Relaxation of 5% marks for reserved categories.
Ph.D. candidates meeting UGC Regulations 2009/2016 are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
Candidates registered for M.Phil./Ph.D. before 11 July 2009 may also get exemption subject to UGC conditions.
NET/SLET/SET Exemption Conditions
The candidate must satisfy:
Ph.D. awarded in regular mode
Thesis evaluated by at least two external examiners
Open viva conducted
Minimum two research papers published
Minimum two seminar/conference presentations

Candidates having a Ph.D. from foreign universities ranked among the Top 500 Universities globally by:

Times Higher Education (THE)
ARWU Shanghai Rankings
Salary
Salary for contractual posts shall be paid as per university norms.
Period of Engagement
The engagement shall remain valid:
Till completion of academic session 2026-27
Or for one year
Or till regular appointments are made
Whichever is earlier.
Important Conditions
Engagement is purely temporary and need-based.
University reserves the right not to fill vacancies.
Candidates without NET/SET/Ph.D. but having 55% in Master’s may be considered as Teaching Assistants.
One month notice or salary in lieu of notice is required for termination.
No salary shall be paid during vacations unless assigned duties.

Academic Score Criteria (Annexure-A)
Graduation :
80% & above = 15 marks
60% to less than 80% = 10 marks
45% to less than 55% = 05 marks
Post Graduation :
80% & above = 25 marks
60% to less than 80% = 23 marks
55% (50% for reserved categories) to less than 60% = 20 marks
M.Phil.
60% & above = 07 marks
55% to less than 60% = 05 marks
Ph.D.
Maximum marks = 30
Research Publications
2 marks for each publication in peer-reviewed/UGC listed journals
Maximum = 10 marks
Teaching / Post-Doctoral Experience
2 marks per year
Maximum = 10 marks
