Hiring of various posts on contractual basis for Addiction Treatment Facility (ATF) Centre, Government Medical College, Anantnag under National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre (NDDTC), AIIMS, New Delhi.
Online applications are invited from eligible candidates of the Union Territory of J&K for engagement against the following positions on contract basis (initially for one year) for Addiction Treatment Facility (ATF) Centre, GMC Anantnag under National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre (NDDTC), implemented by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.

Qualification : a) MBBS from a recognized Institution along with Medical Council Registration. (Preferable: MD or equivalent qualification in Psychiatry)

Name of the Post : Clinical Psychologist/ Counsellor

Qualification :
a) Master’s degree in Psychology with Experimental Psychology as one of the subjects along with a
Diploma in Medical (Clinical Psychology) from a recognized Institution/University.
OR
M.Phil. (Clinical Psychology) or its equivalent from a recognized University.
OR
Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from a recognized University.
b) Registered with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)

Terms and Conditions :
The candidate must be domicile of J&K, UT.
Selection of candidates shall be done purely on the basis of merit obtained in the written test.
This is a provisional position and is not linked to any permanent post. It does not provide any right to a permanent job. If selected, the candidate must submit an affidavit confirming that they will not request or claim a permanent appointment/extension in the future.
Engagement is for one year or until the scheme continues, extendable based on performance and budget availability.
However, in case of unsatisfactory performance, the contractual engagement shall be terminated without any prior notice by the department.
The salary is consolidated and tentative and it can change as per the local norms for contractual sector scheme prevailing at the time of joining.
Neglect or refusal to perform duties will immediately terminate without notice.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the test/interview.
Selected candidates must sign an agreement not to leave before one year. One month’s notice is required for termination; otherwise, one month’s salary will be withheld.
Valid registration with MCI/SMF/JKNC/RCI is mandatory.
Selected candidates must perform duties as per the scheme.
Application Fee :
The candidates shall have to pay a fee of Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred only) Non-refundable in the shape of Demand Draft payable in favour of Principal, Government Medical College, Dilgam Anantnag.
Applications received without the prescribed fee shall not be considered and summarily rejected.
No representation against such rejection will be entertained.
Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor will it be adjusted against any other examination or selection.
Instructions for Submitting Online Applications:
Interested candidates can apply online on the official website of GMC Anantnag www.gmcanantnag.ac.in from 22.05.2026 up to 10.06.2026 and pay fee of Rs. 300/- (Non-refundable) in the shape of Demand Draft and also submit hard copy of application form along with requisite documents in the office of undersigned at main campus Dilgam.
Candidates are advised to go through the instructions and all the eligibility conditions prescribed for the examination before filling the online Application Form.
Last date for filing of Application Form complete in all respects is 10.06.2026.
Application form once submitted successfully will not be editable. Candidates will be solely responsible for the information submitted by them. In case of any information is found incorrect/deficient/incoherent at any stage, the application form shall be summarily rejected.

Note :
The candidate must be in possession of all required documents on 10.06.2026 and no document/certificate issued beyond the cutoff date shall be accepted/entertained.
