Selection Process :
Selection will be made only on the basis of an MCQ-based Written Examination as prescribed under Government Order No. 383-JK (HME) of 2024.

Salary :
In-Service Candidates
Salary will be paid according to the Last Pay Certificate (LPC).
Not In-Service Candidates
Stipend will be paid under S.O. 364 of 2020 on Academic Arrangement Basis.
Tenure :
The appointment will initially be for one year.
The tenure may be extended annually based on satisfactory performance, subject to a maximum period of three years.
Age Limit :
Maximum age for most Senior Resident posts: 45 years
For Anatomy and Biochemistry, maximum age: 50 years
The age will be calculated as on the cut-off date of the advertisement.
Conditions for In-Service Candidates
Applicants already serving in Government departments must:
Produce a valid No Objection Certificate (NOC).
Fulfil all eligibility conditions prescribed under the applicable Civil Service Rules.
Submit the application through proper channel wherever applicable.
Affidavit Requirements
Candidates must submit an affidavit declaring that:
They have not previously completed Senior Residency/Demonstratorship (if applying fresh).
If they have already served, the exact period of service is correctly mentioned.
No criminal case or FIR is pending against them.
All information provided is true and correct.
Important Instructions
Read the notification carefully before applying.

Photograph, signature and thumb impression should be in the prescribed format.
Applications with incomplete information or blurred documents will be rejected.
Separate application and separate fee are required for each specialty.
Candidates who have already completed three years of Senior Residency/Demonstratorship/Tutor service are not eligible.
Those who have completed 30 months or less may apply to complete the remaining permissible tenure.
After online submission, candidates should keep a coloured printout of the application form and produce it with supporting documents whenever called.
Merit and Waiting List
In case of a tie in the written examination, the older candidate will be given preference.
A waiting list will remain valid for three months from the date of publication of the selection list.
Experience Certificate
A selected candidate who joins as Senior Resident/Tutor will not be issued an Experience Certificate unless he/she serves for at least six months.
