Online application forms from the eligible candidates who are domicile of Union Territory of J&K are invited for engagement of following posts purely on academic arrangement basis for teaching and research programme only in terms of S.O.364 Dated: 27-11-2020 in Government Dental College & Hospital, Srinagar for a period of One (1) year in the first instance (maximum six (6) years)or till the posts are filled up by the competent authority through DPC/PSC whichever is earlier. The eligibility for appointment of the following various categories of posts as per the minimum qualification/teaching experience as envisaged in SRO 75 dated 15-04-1993 & SRO 426 dated: 26-12-2012.

The application process shall be completed/submitted in the online mode only. In this regard, applicants are directed to visit
the official website of this Institution (www.gdcsrinagar.org) for submission of their application forms. The applicants are
advised to upload the following documents duly self-attested.

The applicants are also advised to upload the fee receipt after depositing fee in any J&K Bank Branch. The applicants can apply online upto 25-09-2023 (03:00PM). The link will be available from 04-09-2023 from 11:00 AM onwards.

List of documents to be uploaded :

01 BDS Degree/Internship completion certificate.

02 Marks Certificates of 1st, 2nd, 3rd , 4th and final year BDS.

03 Post Graduate Degree Certificate in concerned specialty.

04 Valid Dental Council Registration Certificate with upto date renewal.

05 Aadhaar Card & Pan Card (mandatory as per DCI).

06 Date of Birth Certificate.

07 Domicile Proof.

08 Affidavit duly notarized stating that the documents uploaded by the candidate are genuine.

09 Special Attributes for the post of Professor/ Associate

Professor/Assistant Professor and Lecturer be uploaded as per Government Order No. 282-JK(HME) of 2023 dated: 04-
04-2023:-

i. Teaching experience in a Government/Government recognized institution including the institutions authorized/recognized by DCI.

ii. Research Publications.

iii. Participation with oral presentation including invited for lectures/guest lecturers/oration in a national/international seminar / conference/workshop relevant to the discipline with the abstract/full paper published in the proceeding/souvenir of the seminar /conference/workshop.

iv. Participation with poster presentation of paper(s) in a National/International seminar/conference/workshop relevant to the discipline with the abstract/full paper published in the proceedings/souvenir of the seminar/conference workshop.

v. Author to any book or a chapter in a book of the specialty concerned as 1st 2nd or 3rd author (Foreign Book/National
book published with ISBN/ISSN)

vi. Gold Medal for overall first position in BDS.

vii. Distinction in any subject in BDS.

Notes :
* The selection shall be made as per Government Order No. 282-JK(HME) of 2023 dated: 04-04-2023 followed by Corrigendum to Govt. Order No. 282-JK (HME) of 2023 dated 04-04-2023.

* The requisite fee for application form of the faculty Posts is Rs. 700/=

CONDITIONS & ELIGIBILITY:-

1. In-Service candidate /official shall not be eligible for the engagement to these posts.

2. The maximum age at the time of application should be 63 years.

3. All appointees shall be bound by the terms & conditions as envisaged vide above referred SROs and other instructions
issued from time to time by the Government.

4. The appointment shall not entitle the appointee to any preferential claim for regular appointment under normal process of selection/engagement.

5. The appointees shall be entitled the salary as applicable under SO-364 dated: 27-11-2020.

6. Staff engaged on teaching posts shall be put on teaching and Research duties and shall not be assigned any administrative duties at any level like the positions of Principal, Head of the Department and Head of the Unit.

7. The appointee under these rules shall have to execute an agreement with the Government on the prescribed format.
