Job Recruitment in Govt. Ayurvedic Medical College
Advertisement for Engagement of Hospital Staff on Academic Arrangement Basis under S.O-364, dated 27-11-2020 for Govt. Ayurvedic Medical College Hospital Akhnoor.
To fulfil Minimum Standard of Requirement prescribed by National Commission for Indian System of Medicine, GoI and in
pursuant to approval conveyed by Administrative Department vide No. HD-ISM/129/2021 (CC:86903), dated 22-08-2023.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement on “Academic Arrangement basis” under S.O-364, dated 27-11-2020 for below mentioned posts, initially for a period of one year extendable up to maximum of six years (one year at a time and subject to good performance and conduct) or till the selection is made in accordance with recruitment rules governing the respective posts, whichever is earlier. The extension so granted under these rules shall not be beyond a period of six
years under any circumstances. The details of posts are as under
Essential Qualifications :
A. For the post of Medical Officer: Bachelor’s degree in Ayurvedic Medicine from a University or its equivalent as recognized under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970. Preference will be given to the candidates having Post Graduate degree in the respective clinical subjects.
B. For the post of Emergency Medical Officer: Bachelor’s degree in Ayurvedic Medicine from a University or its equivalent as recognized under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.
C. For the post of Clinical Registrar/MO: Bachelor’s degree in Ayurvedic Medicine from a University or its equivalent as recognized under the Indian Medicine Central. Council Act, 1970. Salary and age shall be as per SO-364 of 2020, dated 27-
11-2020.
The selection criteria shall be strictly as per 554-JK(HME) of 2023, dated 11-07-2023 and is available on college website
(www.gamcjammu.edu.in). Self Attested photocopies of following documents are mandatory to be annexed with application:
1. BAMS Degree/Marks Certificate (Aggregate).
2. Post Graduation degree in concerned discipline from NCISM/CCIM recognized institution.
3. Registration Certificate from J&K Board of Ayurvedic/Unani/ Sowa Rigpa, Yoga & Naturopathy systems of Medicine.
4. Date of Birth Certificate.
5. Domicile Certificate.
6. Academic Honours (Overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in University) certificate.
7. Category Certificate (updated).
8. An affidavit duly attested by 1st Class Magistrate that the candidate is not in active Government Service.
Note :
1. The candidates who have already applied for the posts of Medical Officers in Govt. Ayurvedic Medical College Akhnoor vide Advertisement Notice No. 06-GAMC of 2021, dated 08-11-2021 need not to apply again.
2. Incomplete application in any respect shall be rejected without any intimation.
3. In case of any dispute, decision of chairperson of the selection committee shall be final.
