Job Recruitment in Govt. Unani Medical College

Advertisement for engagement of Resident Medical Officer (RMO/CR) (Unani) on Academic Arrangement Basis under SO-364 of 2020 dated: 27-11-2020 in Associated Hospital of Govt. Unani Medical College, Ganderbal Kashmir.

Pursuant to approval conveyed by the Administrative Department, Health & Medical Education Department, vide No: HD-ISM/129/2021 (CC:86903) dated: 29.08.2023, applications on plain paper are invited from the eligible candidates for engagement against the following positions of Resident Medical Officers(RMO/CR) in Associated Hospital of Govt. Unani Medical College, Ganderbal Kashmir on “Academic Arrangement Basis” under SO-364 of 2020 dated: 27-11-2020,for a period of one year, extendable up to a maximum of six years (one year at a time and subject to good performance and conduct) or till the selection is made in accordance with recruitment rules governing the respective posts, whichever is earlier. Further, the extension shall be made on year to year basis by the Principal, after approval from the Administrative Department. The extension so granted under these rules shall
not be beyond a period of six years under any circumstances. The last date for submission of application complete in all respects, in the office of the Nodal Officer/Deputy Medical superintendent, Government Unani Medical College, and Associated Hospital Ganderbal, Kashmir is 28-10-2023-Saturday (4pm).

Essential Qualification :

A. For the post of Medical Officer/Clinical Registrar :

Bachelor’s degree in Unani Medicine from a University or its equivalent as recognized under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970. Preference will be given to the candidates having Post Graduate degree in the relevant subject.

B. Age : Maximum age as on, at the time of submitting the application is Fifty(50)years

C. Salary shall be as per SO-364 of 2020 dated: 27-11-2020. Self-attested photocopies of the following documents are mandatory to be attached with the application :

1. BUMS Degree with Marks Certificates (aggregate).

2. Post-Graduation Degree in the relevant subject from NCISM/CCIM recognised institution.

3. Registration Certificate from J&K Board of Ayurveda/Unani/Sowa-Rigpa, Yoga & Naturopathy systems of Medicine.

4. Date of Birth Certificate.

5. Domicile Certificate.

6. Valid Category Certificate.

7. Any other higher qualification like PhD/Post-Doctoral Fellowship in the concerned subject.

8. Any academic honour, like 1st /2nd/3rd position in the University (Certificate)

9. An Affidavit duly attested by Judicial Magistrate, that the candidate is not in any active Government Service.

The selection of the candidates for the posts shall be made by the Committee constituted by the Government in accordance
with the selection Criteria notified vide Government Order No: 554-JK (HME) of 2023 dated: 11-07-2023 , which is available on
the official website of the college www.gumck.org.in

The appointment against the advertised posts shall and shall always be on academic arrangement basis only without conferment of any preferential right on the engages for regular appointment against these posts, which shall be made strictly in accordance with the relevant recruitment rules. The services of an appointee under these rules shall be terminable before the expiry of the tenure of appointment with one month’s notice from either side or on payment of one month’s salary in lieu of notice by the appointing authority.

Selection of above mentioned posts shall be made strictly after implementing all provisions of rules & regulations of Reservation
Act prevalent in UT of J&K.

Note :

1. The candidates who have already applied for the posts of Resident Medical Officer/Clinical Registrar vide advertisement notice No: 08 of 2021, dated: 10.11.2021 and No: 09 of 2021, dated: 01.12.2021, need not to apply again. However they can submit any additional qualification/academic honors, if any in the office of Nodal Officer, Govt. Unani Medical College, Nawabagh Ganderbal up to last date.

2. The applications incomplete in any respect shall be rejected without any intimation.

In case of any dispute, the decision of Chairperson of the Selection Committee shall be final.
