Job Recruitment in Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for J&K and Ladakh
The Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for Union Territories of J&K and Ladakh (JERC-JKL) intends to engage Ombudsman for Union Territories of J8d< and Ladakh to discharge various functions relating to redressal of Consumer’s Grievances against Distribution Licensees as per the provisions of the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for UT of Jammu & Kashmir and UT of Ladakh (Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum, Electricity Ombudsman and Consumer Advocacy) Regulations, 2023. The office of the Ombudsman shall be at Headquarters of the JERC for UT of 3M and UT of Ladakh located at Jammu /Srinagar.
All other terms and conditions for the appointment of the Ombudsman shall be such as may be determined by the Commission. Appointment of Ombudsman shall be purely on contract basis and such appointment shall not confer any right whatsoever to claim for regular appointment in JERC. Scope of work and other detailed terms and conditions are contained in Annexure I.
