Educational Qualification & Eligibility :
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility conditions:
Master’s Degree in :
Demography
Population Studies
Statistics
Economics
Mathematics
Sociology
Psychology
Anthropology
Geography
with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
Candidates having Post Graduation in subjects other than Demography/Population Studies must have completed a minimum one-year regular course in Demography/Population Studies from a recognized institution/university.
Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the relevant subjects.
Published research work of good quality related to Demography & Health.
Minimum 8 years teaching/research experience in a University, College, or accredited research institution equivalent to Assistant Professor level.
Candidates must have:
Minimum 7 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
Total Academic/Research Score of 75 as per UGC Guidelines July 2018.

The post is temporary and depends on continuation of the Population Research Centre by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
