More Job Recruitment in Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for J&K and Ladakh

The Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for Union Territories of J&K and Ladakh (JERC-JKL) invites application from suitable person(s) for appointment as Independent Member(s) in the Consumers Grievances redressal Forum(s), one each for the Consumers of the 3PDCL, KPDCL and LPDD to discharge various functions relating to redressal of Consumer’s Grievances against Distribution Licensees as per the provisions of the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for VT of Jammu & Kashmir and UT of Ladakh (Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum, Electricity Ombudsman and Consumer Advocacy) Regulations, 2023.

The Independent Member(s) will be engaged as per following terms & conditions: –

• The Consolidated monthly remuneration shall be Rs. 30000/- (Thirty Thousand only).

• The candidate must have at least OS years working experience in power sector related matters.

• Shall be entitled to 12 days casual leave in a calendar year.

• Shall also be entitled for TAMA (as applicable to the level-12 officer of LIT of AY) for any official tour conducted by him and duly approved by the Chairman of CGRF.

All other terms and conditions for the appointment of the Independent Member to CGRF shall be such as may be determined by the Commission.

Appointment of Independent Member shall be purely on a contract basis and such appointment shall not confer any right whatsoever to claim for regular appointment or continued contractual appointment in the distribution licensee or the commission.
