Recruitment in Agrolytic Farms Jammu

We are searching for an AGRONOMIST for our high end naturally ventilated Polyhouse/organic farm in Jammu. The farm is located Near Swankha Mandir ,Vijaypur, District Samba.

When working on a farm, the candidate should be able examine/inspect plants and crops. The candidate should suggest ways of protecting crops from pest manifestation. Candidate should also be able to oversee harvesting and cultivation at the farm, improving crop yields and solving any issues in the farm

Must Haves:

Candidates must attend a training programme of 40 days in Ahmedabad.

Candidates should also be willing to stay in the farm permanently during the crop cycle.

Agronomist Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture
2. Minimum 1/2 years of agronomy work experience
3. Experience in growing of crops in a protected environment.
4. In-depth knowledge of soil and crop principles
5. Knowledge of plant nutrition
6. Knowledge of drip irrigation
7. Proficient in computers & MS Office
8. Effective written and verbal communication skills
