Engagement of Matron on Contract Basis
PM SHRI School Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Aishmuqam, District Anantnag (J&K-UT), a unit of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Ministry of Education, Government of India, has invited applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Matrons purely on a contract basis for the academic year 2026-27.

Contract Period :
The contractual engagement will be for the academic year 2026-27, from:
16 June 2026 to 15 May 2027
Contract is extendable.
Total tenure will be 10 months only.
Eligibility Criteria :
Educational Qualification :
Minimum qualification: Class 10th Pass
Candidates possessing higher educational qualifications will be given preference during engagement.
Age Limit
Minimum Age: 35 Years
Maximum Age: 55 Years
Marital Status :
Only married females are eligible, including:
Widows
Divorcees without encumbrances
Females having encumbrances will not be engaged.
Remuneration & Facilities :
Selected candidates will be entitled to:
Minimum wages applicable to industrial workers employed in the Building Operations Sector (MT Unskilled category).

Contract appointment for a period of 10 months in a year.
Selection Process :
The selection will be conducted through:
Personal Talk/Interview by a committee at the JNV level.
Shortlisted candidates will be informed telephonically on 14 June 2026.
Every year, fresh engagement will be carried out.
