Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Nowangri, District Pulwama (J&K UT), Pin – 192301 has invited applications from eligible candidates for the engagement of a TGT Music teacher purely on a contractual basis for the academic session 2026–27.
The engagement will remain valid only up to the end of the current academic session 2026–27 or until the joining of a regular incumbent, whichever is earlier.

Educational Qualification
Candidates applying for TGT Music must fulfill the following essential qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Music/Performing Arts from a recognized institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject and also 50% marks in aggregate, provided that Music has been studied as a main subject in all the years of the degree.

Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks.

Preference may be given to candidates having:
Teaching experience in a similar capacity in a recognized school.
Proficiency in teaching in both Hindi and English medium.
Experience of working in a residential school.
Knowledge of the regional language.
Age Limit
The upper age limit is 50 years, while the candidate must not be below 18 years of age as on 01 August 2026.
The cut-off date for determining the age and other parameters is 01 August 2026.
Remuneration
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated remuneration of:
₹40,625 per month
Contract Period
The contractual engagement will be from 21 September 2026 to 31 March 2027, or until the joining of a regular incumbent, whichever is earlier.
