Walk-in-Interview for Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Applications are invited from interested and eligible candidates for a Walk-in-Interview to be held on 16th June 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research and Innovations (CIRI), University of Kashmir, Srinagar for filling up one (01) position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF).

The appointment is under the DBT-sponsored project titled “Understanding the role of RNA binding protein, Vigilin in autism related disorders.”

Monthly Emoluments: ₹35,680 per month

Educational Qualification & Eligibility

Candidates must possess:

Master’s Degree in Biochemistry, Clinical Biochemistry, or Biotechnology.

A minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying examination.

Recruitment in Army Public School, Udhampur

Qualification in NET/GATE/SET or any other similar accredited examination.

Desirable Qualification

Preference will be given to candidates having:

Research experience in CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing.

Experience in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS).

Important Instructions

Candidates must bring their original certificates and other relevant documents indicating qualification.

Applicants should also carry percentage of marks certificates.

Candidates must provide proof of having qualified NET and/or other accredited tests.

Relevant research experience certificates (if any) should also be produced on the day of the interview.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
