Five-judge Constitution Bench of the Supreme Court of India, comprising Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul, Justice Sanjiv Khanna, Justice BR Gavai and Justice Surya Kant to begin hearing of petitions challenging abrogation of Article 370 at 10:30 am on Tuesday, 11 July. Case: Shah Faesal & Others v/s Union of India and others

The Bench will start hearing a batch of around 20 petitions related to abrogation of Article 370 for passing orders. It will hear whether the petition filed by an IAS officer

@shahfaesal could be withdrawn on the petitioner’s submission which is under consideration.
According to very well placed sources, a number of the petitioners are planning to withdraw their petitions before and on 11 July 2023.
