Jago Kashmir Jago, BJP, J&K leader Altaf Thakur on, Farooq Abdullah’s statement on alcohol use

BJP leader and Jammu and Kashmir spokesperson Altaf Thakur has expressed astonishment at National Conference president Dr. Farooq Abdullah’s recent sermons on alcohol use.

Thakur argues that Dr. Farooq, often perceived as a key figure in Kashmir, holds a dark history as the true instigator behind the issuance of the first alcohol license in the region.

Thakur said, while appealing Kashmir people with a slogan Jago Kashmir Jago and said, Surprised to see National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah giving sermons on use of Alcohol.

The fact remains that Dr Farooq is the real Vilian of Kashmir who issued the first Alcohol license and the rest was done by PDP that allowed Broadway bar, CH2 where liquor is sold openly, he said.

Shocked to see the head of a party that burnt Islamic schools, shaved off beards of people and set ablaze holy quran sermonising people on disadvantages of liquour.

None other than NC is responsible for all social evils in Kashmir as it ruled here for over 7 decades, Thakur said.
