Traffic Advisory For Legends League Cricket Matches 2023

In view of upcoming Legends Cricket League scheduled to be held w.e.f.27.11.2023 to 01.12.2023 at M.A.Stadium, where a large gathering from outside as well as within the UT of J&K is expected to witness the Cricket Matches. In order to ensure smooth flow of traffic inside the Jammu City, the general public is requested to park their vehicles preferably at their nearby parking slots in order to avoid unnecessary jamming/ chaos. Further, there will be some on ground restrictions/ diversions for smooth plying of vehicles, so
that no inconvenience to general public is caused.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:-

1. All the vehicles of spectators coming to watch cricket match from North Jurisdiction i.e from Bakshi Nagar/Amphalla/ Janipur/ Talab Tillo and adjoining areas shall be parked at their nearby designated parking slots in the North Jurisdiction.

2. All the vehicles of spectators coming to watch the cricket match from Kunjwani, Narwal and other adjoining areas shall be parked at Jammu University Parking, K.K Hakku Stadium Parking, MAM College parking and the vehicles coming from Satwari, R.S Pura shall remain parked at Women college Gandhi Nagar, Kala Kendra, SRTC Yard and Govt. Boys Polytechnic College Bikram Chowk

3. All the vehicles of spectators coming to watch cricket match from Akhnoor/ Poonch/ Rajouri shall be parked at Yatri Niwas Baghwati Nagar Jammu and Baba Assa Ram Parking Bhagwati Nagar.

4. A large influx of public/spectators is expected to cheer the matches at M.A Stadium as such in order to avoid unnecessary jamming, people who wish to go from North Jurisdiction to South Jurisdiction and vice versa may adopt Bakshi Nagar Pulli- Canal Head- 4th Tawi Bridge to Ware House and vice versa.

5. General Public as well as motorists are requested to avoid unnecessary movement around M.A Stadium during the legends league cricket matches.

6. Public in general are requested to co-operate with Traffic Police for their convenience during the Cricket Matches and
avoid unnecessary parking on road side.

7. Public is further informed that parking slot at Bibi Chand Kour Gurdwara shall not available for 27-11-2023 in view of
Gurupurab but it will be available for rest of the days.
